If you're someone who values accuracy, enjoys analyzing financial data, embraces continuous improvement, and wants to be recognized as a trusted accounting professional, we'd love to meet you. **Job Duties & Responsibilities** - Prepare monthly billings to customers in collaboration with Project Managers utilizing GAAP revenue recognition guidelines. - Reconcile revenue between the financial system and the production ERP system. - Upload, review, and reconcile weekly payroll files for processing, including 401K and FSA. Identify and resolve potential issues before processing. - Reconcile Bank Accounts on a monthly basis. - Reconcile assigned GL accounts on monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or annually as required. - Perform adjusting journal entries to support month-end and year-end closing process. - Assist in audits. - Calculate and submit applications for business licenses and construction fee returns. - Prepare and submit city occupational tax returns as required. - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. - Ensure compliance with GAAP principles in area of responsibility. - Perform backup function for other accounting positions as assigned. - Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. **Qualifications** - Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. - Three or more years of accounting experience is required. Experience in construction or related industry preferred. - Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. - Proficient computer skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, especially Excel. - NetSuite experience is a plus. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
