Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

UTA seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, who will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Technical Accounting Group (CTAG) team with all financial reporting deliverables and technical matters. This individual will support the CTAG team in all manners relevant to the maintenance of a GAAP accounting environment at UTA and collaborate closely with the rest of the corporate accounting and finance teams. This position is based in Beverly Hills, California. The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 commensurate with experience and skills. What You Will Do - Assist in preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements, quarterly covenant calculations and reporting, and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures - Support month-end and year-end close processes for consolidation, including preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations for complex transactions, including but not limited to, share-based compensation, intangibles, and contingent consideration - Assist with maintaining the UTA’s technical accounting policies and procedures - Research and review technical accounting questions and impact to the Company - Support the external audit process - Assist with special projects as needed What You Will Need - 3+ years of complex technical accounting experience; including at least 1+ year from a Big 4 public accounting firm - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - CPA license is strongly preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will also be considered - Senior level with a strong track record of technical accounting and research experience - Thorough understanding of US GAAP and the ability to research technical accounting issues - Ability to communicate highly technical subjects to others with varying levels of accounting knowledge - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects - Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written - Entertainment or media industry experience preferred What You Will Get - The unique and exciting opportunity to work at one of a leading global entertainment companies - Access to the tools, leadership, and resources you will need to create and drive a center of excellence - The opportunity to do the best work of your career - Work in an inclusive and diverse company culture - Competitive programs to support your well-being - Experience working in a collaborative environment with room to grow About UTA UTA is a premier global talent agency built for the future of media and entertainment.
