Job Scope: At OpenExchange, we video-enable the vital daily communications of the financial services, professional investment industry, and wider public and private companies with advanced one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many video technologies, tools, and high-touch services. The Senior Account Executive will be primarily responsible for sourcing, landing, and expanding client relationships, driving revenue growth, and executing the Company’s strategic sales plan with the goal of achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise sales, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to navigate complex buying cycles. The Senior AE role is fully virtual. Responsibilities: - Establish and cultivate key relationships with senior decision-makers within large enterprises, ensuring a consultative approach to selling communication technology-enabled managed services. - Drive new client acquisition and revenue growth by selling virtual events, conferences, and secure hosted virtual meetings within public and private companies. - Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients, increasing product adoption and contract value. - Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue objectives by prospecting, securing meetings, negotiating, and closing new business deals. - Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, providing accurate sales forecasting and ensuring all activities are logged in OpenExchange’s CRM system (Salesforce). - Serve as the Voice of the Customer within OpenExchange, actively gathering feedback to enhance product offerings and improve customer satisfaction. - Work closely with internal teams, including Customer Success / Delivery, Marketing, and Product, to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. Qualifications: - Must be US-based; only candidates located in the US will be considered. - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, or a related field. - 5+ years of proven enterprise sales experience, preferably in tech sales, SaaS, or event services. - Track record of exceeding sales targets, securing new business, and expanding existing accounts. - Expertise in complex sales cycles, including consultative and strategic selling methodologies. - Experience developing a new sales territory, including establishing and executing a structured territory plan. - Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to senior executives. - Ability to self-motivate and self-organize, given the remote nature of the role. - Proficiency in Salesforce.com and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is essential; knowledge of Outreach is advantageous. - Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possesses a proactive, results-driven mentality.
