Security Systems Technician

100% FTE, day shift. You will work at University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. **Work Schedule:** 100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday. Hours may be flexible. No weekends or holidays. Will be needed for emergency response outside of working hours and occasional early or late equipment installs. We are seeking a **Security Systems Technician** to: - Manage the implementation, operation, and functionality of surveillance cameras. You will monitor devices for performance, scan for vulnerabilities, select appropriate devices, and coordinate the installation and replacement of devices. - Collaborate with HR-Employee Relations for employment investigations. Required - Associates degree/post-high school training in an Information Technology. Preferred **Work Experience:** - One (1) year of experience in the installation and maintenance of video surveillance devices and video management systems. Required - Three (3) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of video surveillance devices and video management systems. Preferred **Licenses and Certifications:** - Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. Required - Must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle.
