Security Architect

At BISTEC Global, our family of engineers designs and governs security architecture for enterprise clients across Australia, the UK, and beyond. We're looking for a security architect who takes real pride in secure-by-design thinking and the people who depend on it every day. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect — define and maintain security reference architectures across cloud and on-premises environments. - Advise — act as a trusted security advisor to development, delivery, and platform teams throughout the solution lifecycle. - Govern — review and approve solution designs against Zero Trust, least privilege, and defence-in-depth principles. - Elevate — drive measurable improvements in Microsoft Secure Score, Defender, and Sentinel maturity. **WhatWe're Looking For :** - **​**7+ years in information security, with strong experience in security architecture roles. - Has hands-on experience with Azure and the Microsoft security suite, including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Lighthouse. - Solid grounding in Zero Trust, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF 2.0. - Confident, clear communication — comfortable advising senior stakeholders. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, or AZ-305 are a valued bonus. **​**
