Security Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Security Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to the safeguarding of our organization's assets and information. **Responsibilities:** 1. **Policy Development and Implementation:** - Develop, review, and update security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Implement and enforce security policies across the organization. - Stay abreast of emerging security threats and adjust policies accordingly. 2. **Risk Assessment:** - Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with other departments to assess and mitigate security risks. - Provide recommendations for improving overall security posture. 3. **Incident Response:** - Develop and maintain an incident response plan. - Investigate and respond to security incidents, including breaches and unauthorized access. - Work closely with IT and other relevant teams to contain and mitigate security incidents. 4. **Security Monitoring:** - Implement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security events. - Analyze security logs and reports to identify anomalies or suspicious activities. - Take proactive measures to prevent security incidents. 5. **Security Awareness Training:** - Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees. - Stay informed about the latest security threats and educate staff on best practices. - Foster a security-conscious culture within the organization. 6. **Security Audits and Compliance:** - Conduct regular security audits to assess compliance with security policies. - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. - Prepare and maintain documentation for compliance purposes. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role. - In-depth knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
