The company’s portfolio of brands includes Jack Link’s®, Lorissa’s Kitchen®, Wild River®, Golden Island®, Country Fresh Meats®, BiFi®, Peperami® , Mariani and Local Legends Meat Snacks. **We offer:** - **Steady, predictable shifts** - **A passionate team** - **Strong family values** - **Career opportunities with a goal to promote from within** - **Competitive pay including a bonus plan** - **Great benefits including a medical plan, dental plan and vision plan** - **Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay** - **Discounted product** ## Job Description 3rd Shift Hours: Friday - Sunday 5:30a - 6p The Material Handler is responsible for performing tasks involving the shipping and receiving finished materials. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: - Operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks. - Operating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer). - Accurate and timely selecting of orders - Accurately completing work order sheets. - Notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies. - Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use. - Distribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered. - Daily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment. - Load finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe. - Maintain an accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse. - Safety Operate a Forklift, Pallet Jack, and/or Strait Truck - Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals. - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s). - Cleaning and maintaining warehouse floor and facilities as needed. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary. - Following set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times. ## Qualifications **Required Education**: High School Diploma or GED, preferred. **Preferred**: - 1-3 Months related manufacturing or food experience, preferred. - Knowledge of warehouse and lift trucks experience. - Basic knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, materials, and/or Manufacturing. - Knowledge of SAP. **REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES**: - Excellent attendance and dependability. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail - Work well with others - Working knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excellent verbal communication skills; must work effectively with others.…
