SEC Reporting Manager

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA). 10 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 8 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance. Experience with US GAAP and the SEC filing process in a public accounting or multinational company setting. Preferred qualifications: Ability to have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement. Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams. Ability to own projects and lead others (direct or indirect) to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of the work. Ability to remove and anticipate roadblocks with the potential to impede progress. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive management. Through your relationships with various internal sources, you will efficiently gather financial information, execute the process of preparing, reviewing, submitting and distributing the financial reports. Additionally, you will provide expert advice to executive management on U.S. GAAP and SEC filings, understand a broad range of technical accounting matters and their associated disclosures requirements, and work closely with Alphabet and Bet Accounting teams on preparation of the statement of cash flows. You will be a part of a team that prepares reports that reach securities analysts, investors, industry groups and users globally. Responsibilities Play a key role in the overall SEC Filings process which includes quarterly 10-Q, annual 10-K, and press releases. Prepare cash flow statement, various footnotes and MD&A (Management Discussion and Analysis) disclosures, and maintain XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) compliance. Collaborate with business partners throughout the SEC filing process, including but not limited to, corporate accounting, legal, investor relations, and various members of executive management, and external auditors.
