This person is responsible for installing and repairing water systems in commercial customer buildings. Duties include performing routine maintenance of plumbing systems, responding to call, and installing plumbing systems. Other general tasks include measuring, cutting, bending pipe material and installing and maintaining water systems. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** - Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial buildings - Respond to plumbing calls from our general contracting team - Install plumbing systems in new construction and rehab properties - Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs - Inform personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions and taking appropriate action - Operate a variety of hand and power tools, vacuum pump, recovery unit, test equipment utilized in the trade and a motor vehicle - Maintain equipment and vehicle in effective and safe working condition - Install and maintain water supply systems - Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks) - Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc. - Participate in meetings and training as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions - Prepare written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information - Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety or health concerns - Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment - Other duties may be assigned as needed **ACCOUNTABILITIES** - Independe…
