The Senior UX Researcher will lead high-impact research that helps the NFL better understand fans and improve digital products and experiences across the D2C portfolio. This seasonal role will partner with product, design, strategy, analytics, content, and marketing teams to identify priority questions, conduct rigorous mixed-method research, and translate findings into clear decisions during a high-volume period of the NFL calendar. **Responsibilities** - Lead end-to-end research for priority digital initiatives, from framing the business and customer questions through study design, fieldwork, analysis, and executive-ready recommendations, so teams can make confident product and experience decisions. - Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, usability testing, concept testing, diary studies, surveys, and in-context or event-based research, selecting methods that match the decision and timeline. - Partner with product, design, strategy, analytics, content, and marketing leaders to build focused research plans, clarify assumptions, and connect fan needs to business goals across NFL digital products and services. - Synthesize complex evidence into clear insights, opportunity areas, experience principles, and prioritized recommendations that influence roadmaps, go-to-market plans, and product iteration. - Support research with diverse fan audiences, including subscribers, prospective customers, casual fans, avid fans, and event attendees, ensuring findings reflect meaningful differences in needs, behaviors, and contexts. - Create durable research assets, including discussion guides, survey instruments, insight summaries, clips, journey maps, and repository entries, so teams can reuse learning and avoid duplicative research. - Coordinate with external research vendors and internal operations partners as needed, managing scope, quality, timing, participant recruitment, and deliverables within approved budgets. **Required Qualifications** - Minimum of 7 years of professional UX research, consumer research, product research, or closely related experience, with a portfolio demonstrating impact on digital products or services. - Demonstrated ability to independently lead research from ambiguous problem definition through actionable recommendations. - Strong command of qualitative research methods and working knowledge of quantitative approaches, including survey design and interpretation of behavioral or product data. - Experience partnering with product managers, designers, analysts, engineers, marketers, and senior stakeholders in a cross-functional environment. - Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to both working teams and executives. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent studies, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, sociology, design, market research, or a related field. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience researching subscription, streaming, sports, media, entertainment, gaming, or other consumer digital products. - Experience conducting research in live-event, field, or high-traffic consumer environments. - Familiarity with segmentation, lifecycle research, pricing and packaging research, or conversion and retention questions. - Experience working with research repositories, remote testing platforms, survey tools, and product analytics tools. - Advanced degree in a relevant discipline. **Other Key Attributes / Characteristics** - Fan-centered and commercially minded; connects customer evidence to measurable business outcomes. - Comfortable operating in ambiguity and able to bring structure to complex questions. - Collaborative, low-ego partner who builds trust across functions and levels. - Strong judgment regarding research rigor, speed, and the level of eviden…
