**Summary:** Assists in developing, instituting, and managing member-oriented programs and services. These include but are not limited to: - Services and maintenance of a professional and elegant-looking pro shop. Assists members in the shop with any questions they may have. - Toptracer Range - Golf Tournaments, Events and Leagues - Lessons, Golf Clinics, Junior Camps (if qualified) - Golf Course marking and defining - Club Repair POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL INCOME: - Lessons (if qualified) - Jr. Camp - Clinic/Golf Schools - Club Repair **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;** - Provides assistance for members and guests in the Pro Shop. - Organizes and coordinates golf leagues, outings and special events. - Assists tee-time coordination. - Assists in the maintenance of an accurate inventory. - Marks and defines golf courses. - Produces educational films for members and guests on the current technology. - Performs club repair which includes grips, cut downs and epoxies. - Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner. - Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. - Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of The Polo Club. - Performs other duties as assigned by the First Assistant Senior Golf Professional. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** - Must have good customer service skills. - Knowledge of golf merchandise is helpful. - Requires responsibility and accountability. - Requires good time/task management, and a positive and upbeat attitude. - Requires proficiency with club repair tools such as a vice, grip knife and shaft cutter. - Ability to verbally communicate well in English and in writing. - Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English. - Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members. - Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. **Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. **Reasoning Ability:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
