SEASONAL BARTENDER

## Description We are looking for professional, high-energy bartenders with excellent communication skills to serve our customers. The bartenders will greet customers, answer questions, and serve and sell drinks to our guests. **** **Job Responsibilities:** · Taking drink orders and preparing the customer’s drink. · Making recommendations to customers based on preference, when asked. · Checking identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. · Taking inventory of all stock – consumables and non-consumables – and alerting your supervisor of what you might need. · Processing all cash and credit/debit transactions, ensuring that charges are accurate using a POS. · Daily set up and breakdown of bar area and properly storing products during closed hours. · Daily bar preparations included but not limited to restocking and fruit cutting. · Bar set up in advance of the event. ## Requirements **Job Requirements:** **** · Basic Math Skills · Ability to use electronic POS (primarily iPad/tablet based) · Ability to handle cash · Positive, engaging personality and professional experience. · Excellent verbal communication skills. · Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for an extended period and lift 25 lbs. · Ability to work in all weather conditions. · RAMP Certification is preferred. Seasonal staff who work through Musikfest will be eligible to receive an additional $350 bonus! \*Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 5 shifts (a single shift is defined as a scheduled 5 hours) for a total of 25 hours over the course of Musikfest, to be eligible to receive the bonus. **** **Physical Demands:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
