Compensation: Starting rate of pay $17.00 per hour based on experience. ## Description **Job Summary** **** Responsible for preparing screens/stencils for screen printing process, including screen reclamation; screen stretching; stencil selection, application, exposure, and development; and screen storage. Also responsible for positioning image on screen according to job specifications, blocking out and taping screens, mixing emulsions, maintaining adequate screen making supplies, and performing general maintenance on screen making equipment. **** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **** · Stretches screen fabric across frame, tensions fabric to required specification, adheres mesh to frame, and labels screen. · Prepares screen for stencil adhesion. · Coating of the screens with the appropriate emulsion. · Utilize CTS unit to image stencil · Expose and develop stencil · Tapes and blocks out perimeter of screen. · Checks for and repairs pinholes in screen. · Maintains adequate screen making supplies. · Performs general maintenance on screen making equipment. · Reclaims and prepare screens for reuse · Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. · Responsible for other screen room tasks. **Key Attributes and Job Requirements** **** · High level of product and process knowledge · Demonstrates good sound judgment · Strong initiative · Reliable attendance · Able to work under stress and meet deadlines · Positive attitude and cooperation · Good communication skills · Analytic skills · Problem solving · Mechanical skills · Productivity Candidates with light manufacturing and/or apparel industry experience preferred, although all ambitious, reliable, punctual and self-motivated individuals are welcome to apply.
