Native Americans receive preference in employment opportunities for all positions within Foxwoods Resort and Casino: http://www.mptnlaw.com/MERO/RightsNotice.pdf. ## Description As a Server, a typical day might include the following: - Greeting guests joining us with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor - Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders - Ensuring guests’ orders are accurate and served in a timely manner - Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them - Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment - Resolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelines - Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all necessary guidelines - Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional manner - Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment - Other duties to be assigned based on venues requirements ## Requirements This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: - At least 1 year previous server experience in a fast paced bar/restaurant - Current TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification is required - Working another position in addition to this role during non-nightlife hours is required, such as hosting or bottle service - You present a polished, high-energy, and professional image that aligns with and positively represents the Big Night Entertainment Group brand - Efficient and accurate communication skills - Ability to build guest loyalty with outgoing & friendly personality - Excellent memory and ability to multitask - Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availability - A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high stress environments Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
