School Social Worker (Elementary) Location: Warren, MI Caseload: Elementary Start Date: 26-27 School Year About the Opportunity: AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Warren, MI. This is a full-time position supporting one elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year. As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. Caseload and Environment: - Targeted Caseload: General and Special Education. - Focus: Supporting students across a variety of needs including students in a self-contained classroom. - Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space to conduct sessions and meetings. Responsibilities: - Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support. - Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals. - Facilitate small group and individual sessions. - Lead and support the implementation of BIPS and FBAs. - Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs. - Support students and families in accessing community resources. Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. - Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required) - Experience working with school-aged children is preferred. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
