School Psychologist JobID: 397 Position Type: Licensed Educator/School Psychologist Date Posted: 7/16/2026 Location: Student Services Additional Information: Show/Hide Position Description: The individual selected for this assignment will provide support to elementary and secondary schools through consultation, evaluation, and direct service; focusing on students who are behavioral and academically at-risk, and students with special needs. Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience) 1. Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. 2. Valid Oregon School Psychologist certificate. 3. Minimum of three years of successful teaching, counseling, or school psychology experience. 4. Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and the ability to perform competently in a team environment. 5. Prefer experience working with structured support of intervention programs. 6. Conduct comprehensive individual assessments which may include evaluation in the following areas: General mental ability, learning style, academic achievement, social/behavioral, adaptive behavior/developmental. 7. Consult with school staff regarding best practice in functional behavior analysis and behavior planning. 8. Provide consultation to building personnel regarding development and implementation of IEP's. 9. Effectively communicate with parents and advocates regarding evaluation results and recommendations. 10. Commitment to equitable and inclusive practices for all students. A dedication to their own professional growth and that of their staff and community in congruence with the district equity policy. 11. Start date: 8/31/2026 New staff in-service will be held 8/25/2026-8/26/2026 and will be paid in addition to contract days.
