**School Intervention Specialist** **Location:** 241 Greenhouse Road, Lexington, VA **Employer:** Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) Are you passionate about supporting students' mental health and success in school? RACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in Rockbridge County schools. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position. **Position Responsibilities:** - Provide direct behavioral interventions and therapeutic support to students - Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective support strategies - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards - Advocate for students by connecting them to appropriate community resources - Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field required; mental health or social work focus preferred. - One to three years working with children/adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred. - QMHP or QMHP-Trainee status (or eligibility) with the Virginia Board of Health Professions is preferred. - Strong communication, case management, problem-solving, and ability to work independently and within a team. - Valid Virginia driver's license and safe driving record per RACS policies. **Why Join RACS?** We offer a supportive work environment, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package, including: - **Competitive Pay** - **Tuition Reimbursement** - **Student Loan Repayment Assistance** - **State Retirement Plan** - **Health, Dental & Vision Insurance** - **Paid Time Off & Holidays** **Background Investigation Requirements**: All applicants are subject to a background investigation.
