School Crossing Guard (Multiple Openings) Location: Lafayette, IN Pay $23.60 per hour School Crossing Guards work before and after school, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Typical schedules is 1-2 hours per day. Candidates working both assigned shifts receive additional paid bonus time, with up to total daily earnings of $47.20. Make a Difference Every School Day Every morning and afternoon, School Crossing Guards help create a safer route for students walking to and from school. As a School Crossing Guard, you'll become a familiar and trusted presence in your neighborhood while helping children cross the street safely. What You'll Do · Assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings · Help maintain safe traffic flow around schools · Watch for changing traffic conditions · Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers · Follow all company safety procedures Qualifications · Must be at least 18 years old · Reliable and dependable · Comfortable working outdoors · Able to stand during scheduled shifts · Strong communication and observation skills · Applicants living in or near Lafayette may be better suited for the scheduled shift times.
