Qualifications: Masters Degree in related field School Counselor, School/Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor preferred Experience working with schools, in school settings, or with school-age students NH Educator Certification as a School Counselor (0040), School Social Worker (0049) or Statement of Eligibility Responsibilities and Duties: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other staff to support students' academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs Serve as a member of the school's Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) team to identify student needs, develop interventions, and monitor progress Provide classroom guidance lessons and support schoolwide social-emotional learning and Tier I mental health initiatives Provide short-term individual and small-group counseling to help students develop social-emotional, behavioral, and coping skills Participate as a member of the school's crisis response team and assist with crisis intervention as needed Maintain appropriate records and student confidentiality in accordance with district policy and applicable state and federal laws Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal Salary: Per CEA Contract - $47,710 - $87,525 per year About Chester Academy: Chester Academy is a forward thinking, positive school community that embraces continuous growth through collaboration, professional development, and a strong mentor program for new educators and educators new to our district.
