Our team consists of Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Special Education Teachers. We emphasize the use of evidence-based, personalized care. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team and contribute to the well-being and communication development of our clients. **Position Overview:** **As a private practice Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Under the guidance and supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists, your work will directly contribute to the success and well being of students in the private practice environment.** **What our employees say about working for us:** *"Culture is friendly and inclusive."* *"Everyone is very supportive and willing to help each other."* **Qualifications:** - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program or related field. - State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA. - Willing to provide supervision hours for licensing if needed - Previous experience as an SLPA in private practice or a pediatric setting is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and support staff. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to assist in managing caseload and documentation. - Dedication to providing culturally competent and student-centered care. **Responsibilities:** - Assist in conducting speech and language assessments under the direction of licensed Speech Language Pathologists. - Provide speech and language therapy interventions, exercises, and activities to support the client's communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills. - Support the implementation of treatment plans and carryover of therapy goals - Assist in monitoring and documenting the client's progress, communicating findings to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. - Work with individual students to reinforce therapy techniques and activities. - Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation. - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology assistant services in private practice Benefits: - Health Benefits on Day 1 (Medical, Dental, Vision) with 50% employer contribution - 401k with match and immediate vesting, 100% match for the first 3% and 50% for 4 % and 5% (also a part-time benefit) - Up to 40 hours PTO/sick time (also a part-time benefit) - State Licensure Reimbursement - National Certification Stipend - Professional liability insurance (also a part-time benefit) - EAP short-term disability (also a part-time benefit) - Cancer insurance (also a part-time benefit) - Pet insurance (also a part-time benefit) - Life insurance (also a part-time benefit) - Catastrophe medical (also a part-time benefit) Please see our website here to learn more about us: https://stridesspeechtherapy.com Please contact NAME OF RECRUITER for more information and additional details.
