## Description **POSITION SUMMARY** The Schedule Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the daily and long-term scheduling for 24/7 residential programs and services. To ensure all scheduling functions support timely access to care, efficient use of time, and compliance with agency and regulatory requirements. Duties include coordinating, confirming and adjusting schedules, monitoring provider availability, resolving scheduling conflicts, handling a multi-line telephone/paging system, obtaining required documentation, and directing persons served and visitors to the appropriate staff. There will be some direct care responsibilities for persons served. During times when your primary responsibilities are limited, you may be asked to assist in other areas as needed to support overall operations, regardless of your specific role. This position is essential to operations and must be staffed at all times during the hours of 8:00am-12:30am seven days a week. Therefore, the employee in this role will need to remain in place until a replacement is arranged and able to assume responsibilities. This position requires staff to work some holidays and will be rotated among the disciplines. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** - Create and/or update schedules in conjunction with the program supervisors, to provide coverage to persons served with behavioral health needs in community based and residential settings as identified by Team Manager of Scheduling and Transportation. This will include scheduling Drivers for Transportation services. - Learn & utilize scheduling software to schedule and triage staff schedules. - Provides timely and efficient communication & coordination on schedule updates to program staff, supervisors, and persons served. - Create persons served schedules based on the information from program referrals for community based services and residential census. - Schedule Coordinators will follow procedure for staff triage and will reorganize staff schedules on a shift by shift basis, based on program need, acuity, and census in a supportive manner. - Assist and support Community Medication Outreach in monitoring and documenting persons served medications that walk-in to obtain their medications. - Assist with administrative duties (i.e.- program tracking sheets, program staff progress note correction tracking, organizing, and the processing of timely files for residential and crisis paperwork, etc.) - Assist, support, and document UAs and breathalyzers when requested by crisis clinicians or supervisor. - Work as part of an integrated treatment team collaborating with the individual served, family members or others they want involved in their treatment and other treatment team members (internal and external) to help support the individual in their treatment and recovery - Provide services to meet the whole health needs of individuals served - Utilize appropriate assessment instruments to help monitor the progress of individuals served and ensure necessary services are received in the appropriate intensity and duration - Utilize Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) as appropriate - Assist the CIC with checking in evening and weekend visitors per policy and procedure. - Establish appropriate and professional boundaries with individuals. Treat individuals with Dignity and Respect at all times. - The Schedule Coordinator work closely with the Security team in greeting persons served, visitors, and staff coming in for crisis services.
