This role is responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing industrial and commercial weighing equipment at customer sites and in our service facility. **Qualifications** - Willing to learn - Excellent customer service skills - Excellent problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills - This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent - Knowledge of machines and tools, electronic equipment, related hardware and software, including their uses, repair, and maintenance - Basic electronic and mechanical knowledge, including working knowledge of a digital multimeter - CDL CLASS B and NYS Weights & Measures certification a plus **Responsibilities** - Provide installation, calibration, and field service repair on weighing equipment using testing devices, gauges, and other tools and equipment - Check work orders and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment - Complete job hazard analysis, ensuring safety protocols and PPE are in place before starting any task - Test electrical components and replace faulty components - Properly maintain all equipment, tools, and facilities for safe operation - Accurate and timely completion of all reporting - Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product/service improvements - Follow all Federal, State, and local regulations, and Company Safety policies - Represent Scales, Sales & Service professionally and ethically at all times - Keep up with technology changes to products as introduced Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour # About Us **Power Transmission Equipment, Pumps, Scales, and Refrigeration Supplies** **A 4th Generation Family Owned Company.** Found in 1905, Root Neal & Co. offers a variety of products and services to meet our customer’s needs.
