SAT/ACT Tutor

**Location:** Sylvan Learning Center – Coral Gables / South Miami Area **Position Type:** Part-Time **Schedule:** Afternoons, evenings, and weekends **Compensation:** 30/hour (starting; increase upon showing results) Sylvan Learning Center is looking for a motivated and reliable **SAT/ACT Math Tutor** (*bonus if you can also tutor for Reading & Writing*) to work with high school students preparing for the SAT/ACT. We are looking for someone who is confident in teaching **SAT/ACT Math** (plus **Reading** & **Writing**, preferred) **and test-taking strategies**. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teenagers, is patient, organized, and able to explain concepts clearly. **Responsibilities:** - Tutor students in SAT Math (bonus: also Reading & Writing) - Help students improve test-taking strategies and confidence - Prepare students for SAT practice tests and official exams - Track student progress and provide feedback - Create a positive and supportive learning environment **Requirements:** - Strong knowledge of SAT Math (bonus: Reading & Writing also) - Prior tutoring or teaching experience - Excellent communication skills - Reliable, patient, and professional - Must be available during afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings (flexible) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience preparing students for the SAT, ACT, or other standardized tests - Background in education, Math, English, or related field - Ability to motivate and support high school students We look forward to meeting you!
