SAP PS Consultant

**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP PS Consultant based in India.** As an SAP PS Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering and optimizing enterprise project management solutions within complex engineering and manufacturing environments. This position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale SAP transformation initiatives, working across project systems, portfolio management, and financial integration processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable, business-driven solutions that improve project execution, cost control, and operational efficiency. The role combines strategic consulting responsibilities with hands-on configuration and support activities, providing significant exposure to end-to-end SAP implementations. Working in a remote and collaborative environment, you will contribute to high-impact projects while leveraging the latest SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA. ### Accountabilities: - Lead and support full-cycle implementations of SAP Project Systems (PS), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Commercial Project Management (CPM), and Investment Management (IM) solutions. - Configure SAP PS functionalities, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Project Quotations, Time Sheets, and Goods Issue processes. - Design and implement integrations between SAP PS and related modules such as SAP CO, FI, MM, SD, PP, and other logistics applications. - Define and support migration strategies for SAP PS data and objects during implementation and transformation initiatives. - Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom developments. - Provide production support, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure timely resolution of system defects. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into SAP solutions, and ensure alignment with governance standards and industry best practices. - Support testing activities, user training, documentation, deployment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. ## Requirements - Minimum of 8 years of experience working with SAP Project Systems (PS), preferably within engineering or discrete manufacturing industries. - Proven experience supporting multiple SAP ECC implementations and participating in at least five full-cycle SAP implementation projects. - Strong expertise in SAP PS, PPM, CPM, and Investment Management (IM) solution design and configuration. - In-depth knowledge of SAP CO-PS processes, including Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Revenue Recognition, and Result Analysis. - Demonstrated experience integrating SAP PS with SAP CO, FI, MM, SD, PP, HR, and other related modules. - Hands-on experience defining migration concepts and supporting SAP PS data migration activities. - Strong capability in creating functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom developments. - Experience providing production support, issue resolution, and system optimization in complex SAP landscapes. - Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments and transformation projects. - SAP Project Systems (PS) certification is preferred. - Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and remote teams. ## Benefits - Fully remote contract opportunity based in India. - Long-term engagement with an initial 12+ month contract duration. - Exposure to large-scale SAP transformation and implementation projects. - Opportunity to work with modern SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA. - Collaborative and international work environment with cross-functional project exposure. - High level of ownership and involvement in strategi…
