This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) is critical in bridging the gap from local family farms to grocery stores for our consumers. You’ll use your knowledge and understanding of sanitation policies and procedures to help guide our Sanitation Associates. You will also be on your feet during each twelve-hour shift, moving, lifting, loading and working with air-conditioned and sunlight-filled warehouse. What You'll Do: Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedule Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate to employees Lead and develop sanitation crew assignments, creating equipment and sanitation process ownership Work directly with crewmembers, supervisors, and managers to ensure sanitary conditions and standards are upheld Evaluate job performance of crew members Ensure all personnel safety and food safety procedures are followed rigorously Drive continuous improvement of waste elimination Anticipate problems and make quick decisions under time pressure Must be able to understand production process and be able to perform tasks related to maintaining sanitary conditions in the facility and be able to coach others in their work Lead daily direction setting meetings when required Provide verbal and/or written recommendations to supervisor concerning crew performance, problems, or issues On the job training on sanitation practices and equipment (alongside training department) Assist in the completion and successful execution of planned sanitation events that fall on shifts. Other duties as needed to support team and organizational success What You Bring to the Table: 1 year of work experience in a sanitation manufacturing environment Proven experience in leadership / supervisory roles Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and food quality reasons You’re able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs You’re committed to following all personal safety requirements rigorously.
