Sandblaster/Painter

Location: Rosemount, MN Shift and Time: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays), Seasonal Wage: $22 - $25.50 an hour DOE Valid Driver's License Required Summary: Perform sandblasting and painting of stock and custom products Assist with fabrication and manufacturing processes in the shop Operate shop equipment for shearing, punching, and sawing materials Tend automated and semi-automated production equipment Organize, pull, package, and ship materials, hardware, and finished products Load and unload freight trucks and job-site materials Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard Safely operate forklifts and other mobile equipment Support various shop operations and special projects as assigned Follow all company safety and environmental policies and procedures Work closely with the Shop Manager and team to meet production goals Physical Requirements: Required to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Safety is #1 at DFC: Our expectation is that every employee: 1) strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. 3) Promptly reports injuries for diagnosis and treatment. 4) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.
