Salesforce CRM and Experience Cloud Architect

**ABOUT THE ROLE** We are looking for a senior Salesforce CRM and Experience Cloud Architect to lead solution architecture and technical delivery on a strategic Salesforce engagement in the US. This is a contract engagement for someone who can own the architecture end-to-end, from core CRM design through to customer and partner-facing Experience Cloud portals. The right candidate combines deep Salesforce CRM expertise with strong Experience Cloud implementation experience and the confidence to lead architectural decisions across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** - Define the end-to-end Salesforce architecture spanning core CRM (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) and Experience Cloud - Lead architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders - Translate business requirements into scalable, secure Salesforce solutions - Own the solution blueprint, data model, sharing model, and integration strategy - Architect Experience Cloud sites for customer, partner, or community use cases - Provide technical governance, including code review oversight and design-pattern standards - Guide development teams on best practices across Apex, LWC, and declarative tools - Define integration architecture between Salesforce and external systems - Lead architecture discussions with client stakeholders and present trade-off analyses to decision-makers - Collaborate across business, product, and engineering teams throughout delivery **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** **Must-Have** - 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience - 3+ years operating as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect - Proven delivery of Salesforce CRM implementations (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud) - Strong hands-on Experience Cloud architecture and delivery experience - Solid integration architecture experience across enterprise environments - Based in or authorized to work in the US - Demonstrated ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders **Technical Depth** - Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow - Experience Cloud site design, templates, and component customization - Security model design, including sharing rules, community licenses, and field-level security - Integration architecture and API-led connectivity patterns - Data modelling and large data volume strategies **Preferred Certifications** - Salesforce Certified Application Architect - Salesforce Certified System Architect - Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant **NICE TO HAVE** - Experience with self-service or partner portal implementations at scale - Background in regulated or enterprise industries - Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks **WHAT SETS YOU APART** - Strong architectural decision-making and the ability to defend trade-offs clearly - Comfort navigating ambiguity in large, complex enterprise programmes - Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills - Strategic mindset balanced with a bias toward delivery and execution
