**Sales Support Coordinator** **Job Description** | **Department:** | Sales | **Supervisor:** | Sales Operations Manager | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **Work location:** | Corp HQ | **# Direct Reports:** | 0 | | **Effective Date:** | August 2022 | **Approved by:** | JS | **JOB SUMMARY:** Supports the sales team by processing orders, maintaining accurate data, and coordinating with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth, timely fulfillment in a fast‑paced and seasonal sweets and confectionary manufacturing environment **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Acts as primary contact for Sales Team to drive internal HQ projects, questions and overall support needed to manage key accounts. - Resident expert for the Sales Team in the following categories: sales presentation development, broker communication, sales analytics, image requests, sales order tracking, sales forecasting, etc. - Manages all sales orders, from PO receipt to delivery to ensure on-time shipping and eliminate any issues that may arise. - Communicates with broker partners, buyers, and other retail departments as required by Sales Team to resolve sales related issues. - Maintains sales portion of SharePoint, updating as necessary and communicating any changes to internal team and broker partners. - Coordinates sample requests for accounts, completes new item forms as required, and helps compile information for all sales meetings. - Learns account/retail portals to update as required and pull reports and analytics as required. - Overall vendor management including maintaining vendor portal requirements by retailer, pulling data and providing data as needed. Including, but not limited to; retailer requirement changes such as sku information, routing guide changes etc., and update/provide reporting to key stakeholders as required. - Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety policies when handling customer documentation, product specifications, and order‑related materials. - Ensures accuracy and compliance of customer orders, labels, and product information in alignment with GMP and regulatory standards. - Participate in required GMP, food safety, and compliance training sessions and apply learnings to daily tasks. - Other duties as assigned, which may include project management of key sales programs/projects. **EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS:** - Bachelor’s degree required. - 2+ years’ experience in a sales support role preferred - Experience in the food industry or related GMP regulated industry is desirable - Must have strong verbal & written communication skills, time management skills and ability to influence without authority. - Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, V Look-up and macro’s) and PowerPoint required as well as proven project management skills. **PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS (OSHA‑Aligned)** - Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25–30 pounds, using proper ergonomic lifting techniques consistent with OSHA’s General Duty Clause. - Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, data entry, and phone handling while following ergonomic best practices to reduce strain. - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as required by daily tasks. - Follow all company safety procedures related to material handling, workstation ergonomics, and hazard reporting. - Participate in required safety and ergonomics training and promptly report any discomfort, strain, or potential hazards. **EEO & TITLE VII COMPLIANCE:** The company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
