## Description **SUMMARY** As part of the Sales Operations Team, this role is an advocate for our customers that work across the company to ensure the very best customer experience when interacting with GRC. This may include fielding incoming calls, greeting guests, fulfilling literature requests, quoting and order entry into the ERP system. The Specialist is a diligent individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is focused on accuracy and accountability. **ESSENTAL DUTIES:** - Answers incoming calls to Sales Operations with professionalism and enthusiasm providing customers a positive experience as the incoming calls are often the first touchpoint customers have with our company. - Fulfill all direct requests for sample chips and literature including managing sample inventory, assembling chip rings, packaging and shipping orders as well as manage the incoming customer sample requests and follow up communication as needed to customers. Ensures process is documented and efficient. - Manages process for fulfilling all Material Bank requests for sample chips, as well as primary contact with Material Bank. Ensures process is documented and efficient. - Enters both quotes and orders into the ERP system efficiently and accurately, collaborating with Account Managers/Customers as needed to confirm order details or obtain missing or corrected information. - Provide visitor support that reflects Grand Rapids Chair Company’s quality of service and hospitality. - Provide support to Sales and Marketing or other executives as required for customer or other groups of visitors to ensure the event is successful and creates a positive experience and Company image. This support may include conference room set up, food coordination, and clean up. - Manages inventory and re-order of Literature Room office supplies. - Performs other duties as assigned. ## Requirements • **Ability to work on site Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.** • High School diploma, Associates Degree or some college preferred. • Previous customer service, front desk, or other customer facing work experience. • Ability to excel in a professional, team based, and fast paced environment. • Attention to detail, ability to follow directions and handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently. • Ability to effectively communicate in English through oral and written communication. • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including email, Word, and Excel • Agile learner, self-starter, strong follow through skills.
