As a Parts Specialist, you will partner with internal retail associates to enhance the consumer’s purchasing experience. You will be responsible for maintaining a strong communication flow between all locations as well as supporting the retail/field team by providing the necessary tools to execute the sales/services in the most efficient manner while delivering high-quality results. This position is a responsible for a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following: **Duties, Responsibilities** - Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and to exceed their expectations - Assist customers with replacement parts both in person and over the phone - Assist maintaining proper parts inventory levels, to do proper posting, and to measure true turns - Make effective decisions to encourage successful merchandising execution - Ability to utilize computers and computer capabilities for inventory, recordkeeping, parts information, etc. - Ability to establish and control inventory systems - Assist in monitoring and promoting on-line sales - Assist other locations when needed - Maintaining customer objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked and delivered on a timely basis - Involved with monitoring parts inventory and anticipates parts needs for future promotions, trends, and suggested stock orders - Works with retail and wholesale customers in considering credit applications, handling complaints, and negotiating prices to ensure customer satisfaction - Must have a wide knowledge of the Manufacturer’s new and recent products - Must be capable working independently, working with a team, and working with customer’s - Proficient use of Microsoft Office - Must be able to work effectively in web based applications - Ability to work within a high-energy, fast paced environment - Special Assignments and Other Duties as required **Education / Experience Required** · Associate Degree preferred - 2+ years of merchandising and/or retail experience preferred - 1+ years of parts sales or agricultural experience preferred **Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required** - Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint, as well as Google Chrome & Internet Explorer - Job entails a considerable amount of walking, working with Parts Counterpersons, Technicians, and greeting customers - Involves analyzing current inventory, spot-checking to ensure that actual inventory coincides with computerized inventory, checking on back orders, etc. - Highly creative individual capable of suggesting unique solutions to support organizational goals. - Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including managers, associates, and customer’s - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail - Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workflow to maximize office productivity. - Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Critical Thinking, Detail Oriented, Positive Attitude, Strong Work Ethic
