As a Sales Engineer at Hydro-Gear, you’ll - Partner with customers and internal account managers to develop strong, long-term business relationships - Serve as the primary technical resource for non-turf OEM customers throughout the sales and product development process - Collaborate with customers to identify application needs and recommend hydraulic and electric drive solutions - Support vehicle development projects and help ensure successful integration and application of Hydro-Gear products - Provide ongoing technical guidance and support related to product performance, troubleshooting, field service, and warranty matters - Conduct on-site visits with OEM accounts to discuss new opportunities, evaluate applications, and support production programs - Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, operations, quality and sales teams to deliver customer focused solutions - Help identify growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts Qualifications and Experience - College degree in a related technical, electrical, or mechanical engineering field preferred - Customer-facing experience in technical sales, applications engineering, industrial equipment, or related fields - Strong technical and hands-on aptitude - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to build customer trust and communicate technical concepts clearly - Comfortable working in a collaborative account team environment - Willingness to travel up to 50% What Makes Someone Successful in This Role The ideal candidate is: - Customer Focused - Technically Curious - Strong Communicator - Solutions Oriented - Comfortable balancing technical discussions and business relationships If you enjoy solving problems, helping customers succeed, willing to schedule up to 50% of travel you’ll have a successful career in this role.
