Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator is an energetic individual with a passion for sales and customer service as well as superior organization, computer, and property systems management skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete contracts, addendums, and proposals with accuracy. Timely and professional communication with clients. Coordinate with Sales Managers to execute group booking accordingly in appropriate systems. Any additional group changes will be updated by the sales coordinator. Set up accurate billing for each individual group. Enter pertinent information into Sales, POS and Event Management systems. Regularly assists in booking individual reservations that fall into special rate categories. Run group reports through our sales system. Continually maintain group bookings in property systems. Administrative duties: Typing, answering telephones, sending correspondence, etc. (as required) Taking leads both over the phone and email, then processing in our sales system. Act as a lead catcher for RFPs. Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING: 2 years of experience in hospitality industry. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office. Well organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills. Excellent communication skills and passion for creating ridiculously personable experiences for guests. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Please note: management reserves the right to change, modify, and/or alter any of the duties listed above to meet business demands. Salary range: $14.00 USD - $16.00 USD per hour, plus gratuities
