As part of Accenture’s Industry X – Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice, we are now positioned to reshape the future of capital project delivery, leveraging technology and insight to deliver better, faster, and more sustainable outcomes for our clients in a rapidly evolving global market. **Role Description**We are seeking an experienced Safety Technician to support large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects in the Campinas region, Brazil. This role will support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring adherence to Brazilian legislation, OSHA standards, project requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have proven construction EHS experience, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments, along with advanced English to effectively collaborate with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and international stakeholders while promoting a strong safety culture. ### Key Responsibilities - Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, audits, and compliance assessments. - Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and High-Risk Activities (HRAs), including lifting operations, permits, and task planning. - Ensure compliance with Brazilian legislation, OSHA standards, project requirements, and project-specific EHS and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP). - Maintain EHS documentation, including training records, competency verification, inspections, and compliance reports. - Support KPI tracking, incident and near-miss investigations, and corrective and preventive actions. - Participate in emergency preparedness activities, safety meetings, toolbox talks, onboarding, and EHS training sessions. - Partner with project teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote safe work practices and continuous improvement. - Help foster a proactive safety culture while supporting the successful delivery of mission-critical construction projects. ### Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - Technical diploma or degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field. - **Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience within the construction industry** is required. - Experience supporting **data center or other mission-critical construction projects** is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of Brazilian EHS legislation, OSHA standards, and construction safety best practices. - Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, contractor safety management, and implementing EHS programs on active construction sites. - Experience supporting project-specific Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Plans and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP). - **Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)** is required; Spanish is a plus. - Professional EHS or Safety certifications are highly desirable. - Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-contractor construction environments.
