Safety and Environmental Supervisor

Darigold is seeking a dynamic and motivated **Safety and Environmental Supervisor** to lead safety initiatives and strengthen our culture of workplace safety at our **Bozeman, MT** facility. This role is instrumental in driving employee engagement, reducing workplace risk, and fostering a proactive safety culture that supports operational excellence. The Safety and Environmental Supervisor partners closely with the Senior Safety Director and Director of Environmental Compliance to develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs that ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Darigold's environmental, health, and safety standards. **What You Will Do** - Embody a safety culture to change behavior and drive change across the Bozeman site - Support the risk management process to systematically identify hazards, assess risks, and drive execution of corrective actions - Assist with incident investigations to determine root cause and ensure corrective actions are implemented and documented - Partner with site leadership to establish goals, metrics, and priorities for safety and environmental - Manage the Safety KPIs and other trends to identify areas where we can continue to account for and mitigate risks and drive improvement in safety - Perform site inspections and internal audits that generate corrective actions in order to drive continuous improvement - Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing data and present recommended next steps - Sponsor and support the Darigold Performance System Safety Pillar - Maintain current knowledge of trends and practices and remain apprised of industry standards, technology, developments, and regulatory changes - Deliver safety and environmental training to employees at all levels - Respond to environmental and safety emergencies and support operational recovery - Ensure compliance with NPDES and Industrial Stormwater permits, including sampling, reporting and corrective actions. - Monitor and report environmental compliance data using Darigold’s EMS software **What You Bring** - Bachelor’s degree or three to five years in a production facility, preferably in Dairy. - Strong organizational & communication skills. - Possesses strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. **Nice to Have’s** - Ideal candidate will have previous dairy processing or food manufacturing experience. - Ability to monitor several concurrent processes simultaneously is critical to success in the position. - Strong attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks, must be committed to accuracy and quality. - Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. - Work with others to achieve team goals. - Maintain high attendance standards. - Experience in a manufacturing environment, mechanical skills desirable. - Strong computer experience for reporting and HMI screen management - Ability to respond to variances in the process. - Ability to organize and analyze process problems. - Strong oral and written communication skills, strong computer skills - Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes **Benefits of Working at Darigold** We understand that as an employee, benefits that support you and your family in and out of work are important.
