This position is responsible for operating a roll form mill to produce steel panels cut to custom lengths. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a team first mindset, take initiative and own their work, while communicating with respect. **Essential responsibilities:** - Operating a steel roll form mill, loading & unloading steel coils with a forklift, banding and putting away steel. - Know how to properly run the equipment to make panels to specifications. - General understanding of how steel panels are used in construction. - Learn and cross train on other machines. - Inspect finish products for accuracy and consistency. - Maintain a clean and organized work space. - Follow company safety procedures. - Work collaboratively within the team to meet daily production goals. - Willing to work with others in supportive areas of the plant. **Safety:** We supply safety glasses, cut resistant arm guards, cut resistant gloves, steel toe footwear allowance provided. ## Qualifications - Must have High School Diploma or GED. - Ability to work on your feet for 90% of the day. - Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 pounds on a regular basis. - Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required. - Ability to understand and read schematics. - Ability to read a tape measure. - Ability to work independently but contribute to team accomplishments. - Strong attention to details. - Reliable transportation, attendance, & punctuality. ## Additional Information Site Address: 1435 Egret Dr, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501 **Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?** Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we **live, work and play**.
