What we need from you: - Operate roll wrapping equipment to wrap rolls with poly. - Use scanners to scan rolls or manually enter them into roll tracking system. - Use roll tracking system to generate bundle tags, check to ensure accuracy. - Wrap rolls according to customer specifications. - Check rolls for quality workmanship, advise supervisor of poor-quality rolls. - Clean equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away materials as assigned. - Trim and/or cut rolls to smaller sizes or to be baled as required. - Keep timely and accurate records. - Check roll wrapping supplies and replenish when needed. - Review roll labels and check for accuracy. - Cut down, re-wrap and re-label rolls/bundles as necessary. - Work as a member of the roll wrapping and shipping team to maintain flow of finished product from the machines to the trucks or inventory. - Work safely following all safety policies and procedures. - Must work well with others and take directions from supervisor. Minimum qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. - Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. - Must be comfortable operating machinery and using cutting knives. - Display good communication and interpersonal skills. - All candidates must pass pre-employment screening, drug screen, physical and criminal background screening.
