## **Company :** Allegheny Health Network ## **Job Description :** Part Time Occupational Health RN located at: **PPG Industries** **4325 Rosanna Drive** **Allison Park, PA 15101** **GENERAL OVERVIEW:** This job utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct delivery of patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols; assists in the implementation and maintenance of an occupational medicine program at AKMC; assists with marketing of such program, providing educational program. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Performs a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient needs. - Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care with communication to clients regarding the care. - Performs and documents direct patient care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice. - Identifies and responds to patient condition to achieve positive patient outcomes. - Provides periodic interdepartmental refresher training on urine drug screen collection and breath alcohol testing for ancillary department personnel. - Promotes and markets the HealthWorks program and services. **QUALIFICATIONS:** Minimum - Graduate from accredited school of nursing - Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) - 3 years of Direct Patient Care - Preferred - Certified Hearing Conservationist - Experience with Worker's Compensation laws, OSHA, Department of Transportation rules and regulations - Certified Breath Alcohol Technician - 3 years in Occupational or Emergency Medicine ***Disclaimer:*** *The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
