At Avenues, nurses play a vital role in helping individuals begin recovery in a safe, supportive, and highly structured medical environment. **What You'll Do** - Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge - Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs - Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care - Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client - Provide patient education in individual and group settings **What We're Looking For** - Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges - Strong oral and written communication skills - Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask - Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles **Where You'll Work** Avenues Recovery Center in Prince Frederick, MD is a 100 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.
