There is a variety of types of patients we receive and the level of acuity in the departments. This grouping includes E8-Med/Obs/Tele, E7-PCU/Surgical Oncology and T9-PCU and other variable acuity units. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered. **QUALIFICATIONS:** Minimum - 2 years acute care nursing experience required. - Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). - CPR – American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - American Heart Association preferred - NIH Certification preferred - Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate - Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate - Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate **Responsibilities:** Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning skills. Provides safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements. Professionally directs and manages the activities of the patient care delivery by the team members. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
