[Required] - Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows-based programs. [Required] - Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills). [Required] - Equipment use to stabilize and monitor patients (IV insertion, central lines, pulse ox, NG tubes, Foley, chest tubes, hemodynamics monitoring), including electronic medical record and automated dispensing medication system (pyxis). [Required] - Proficient clinical skills, critical thinking skills, and strong communication skills. [Required] - Commitment to hourly patient rounding and EKG interpretation class. [Required] - Frequent independent judgment, sound professional judgment and critical-thinking skills in clinical situations, including clinical assessment, data, and patient response. [Required] - Ability to continuously prioritize multiple duties and function in a calm and professional manner during stressful situations. [Required] - General knowledge of professional nursing principles and techniques, and the pharmacological process in the appropriate administration or delivery of medications.
