**\*\* Sign on bonus of $20,000.00 for qualified, full time candidates** **\*\* Relocation up to $7,000.00 for full time candidates per HR guidelines** **JOB SUMMARY**: Performs the patient care aspect of diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath/EP lab procedures. Preps and recovers patient pre/post cath. Performs moderate sedation and records vital signs. Maintains continuity of care for patients while they are in the cardiac cath lab, prepares charts for procedures. Operate POC testing as required. The Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse must be able to maintain calm while being effective and accurate in critical situations, foster an environment of collaboration and respect, and maintains a positive approach to working in a fast paced environment. Additionally, we are honored to be named one of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals by *Newsweek*, among numerous other prestigious accolades. **Minimum Requirements:** - Graduate from an approved School of Professional Nursing. - Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and two (2) years’ experience as a Critical Care Nurse preferred. - Maintain current BLS certification. - ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintain current. - As a condition of continued employment staff members must maintain current status at all times and not allows his/her certification/licensure/ registry to expire or he or she will no longer be compliant with the requirement of the job description. - Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
