Retail Team Leader- Rapid Valley

We are seeking a **Retail Team Leader** to become an important part of our team! Goodwill of the Great Plains strives to make employee compensation performance-based, competitive to organizations with similar missions, and commensurate for the individual’s level of responsibility. **Responsibilities:** - Opening and/or closing the store, ensuring store is open during the posted hours of operations; safe, office, and outer doors are locked upon leaving the building; paperwork is done accurately, etc. - Oversee store operations in absence of manager and assistant manager and report to them any issues that arise - Train and evaluate store employees and/or persons served when applicable - May be called upon to correct EBT errors - Count down cash drawers - Ensure all cash, deposits, and cash drawers are place in safe and that safe door is closed and locked - Accept donated items in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner per store guidelines - Process donated items to produce inventory for sales floor - Follow store procedures for sales floor cashiering, customer service, merchandise handling, and upkeep **Qualifications:** - At least two years of prior retail sales experience, with opening/closing responsibilities preferred - Demonstrated ability in use of cash register and affiliated duties (giving correct change, etc.) - Drivers License and proof of Insurance required if frequently driving as part of job duties While the benefits are great, Goodwill’s mission is really at the heart of all we do.
