Retail Supervisor

Retail Supervisor Reports To: Store Leader / Assistant Store LeaderStatus: Regular Hourly About the Role The Retail Supervisor supports daily store operations while leading a team of Retail Associates to deliver an exceptional customer and donor experience. This hands-on leadership role helps drive sales, donation processing, merchandise presentation, team performance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support Retail Associates during daily operations. Deliver outstanding customer and donor service and help resolve concerns. Monitor sales floor activity, donation processing, merchandising, and store presentation. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with company policies, cash-handling procedures, and safety standards. Help prevent loss, protect company assets, and report operational concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming store environment. Open and close the store and oversee operations in the absence of store leadership. Support achievement of sales, production, and customer service goals. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. One year of retail experience required. Previous supervisory, leadership, or keyholder experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Comfortable using POS systems, basic computer applications, and cash-handling procedures. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly; occasional heavier lifting may be required. Ability to operate a computer, cash register, and other retail equipment. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Work Environment Retail store environment with moderate noise levels and frequent interaction with customers, donors, employees, and donated merchandise.
