# Retail Department Lead **Location:** Avon Lake, OH 44012 ## Job Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Department Lead to join our team in Avon Lake, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the retail department, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and driving sales performance. ## Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise retail department staff to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer service standards. - Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation. - Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports to track department performance. - Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience. - Collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and store initiatives. - Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures. ## Qualifications - Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications. - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus. ## Work Environment This position is based in our Avon Lake retail location.
