Restoration Technician

As a Restoration Technician, you are responsible for creating a great first impression with the customer. A commitment to excellent customer service is essential. Communication with customer and team members, an attention to detail and technical knowledge are all required to be successful at Rainbow International of North Central Illinois. **Specific Responsibilities:** - Respond to new jobs and initiate mitigation protocols according to IICRC standards and Rainbow International's processes - Communicate with customers about scope of work and establish expectations. - Obtain necessary documentation (Photos, Work Authorizations, Certificate of Completions etc.) - Update all job files with loss information daily - Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times - Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions **Job Requirements:** - IICRC Certifications (WRT is required. ASD, Mold and Fire Cleaning are desired) - 1-3 years experience in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up - Valid Driver's License (No DUI's or suspensions in past 4 years) - Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. - Working knowledge of MICA, Xactanalysis, DASH and other restoration applications. - Excellent communication skills **Benefits:** Benefits package varies by location **We are actively interviewing for this position - Apply today and our hiring manager will follow up!** Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour At Rainbow International® Restoration we’re helping families out when disaster strikes, turning their damaged houses back into homes.
