Restoration Technician

We are hiring a skilled and motivated **Restoration Technician** to perform mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who works well under pressure, values craftsmanship, and understands the importance of customer care during stressful loss situations. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform **water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation** - Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers) - Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials - Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents - Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools - Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software - Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites - Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members - Follow **OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures** - Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services **Qualifications** - Experience in **restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades** preferred - Knowledge of **water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup** a plus - IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtain - Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environments - Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record - Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls **Why Join ServiceMaster Restore?** - Competitive pay with overtime potential - Paid training and support for **IICRC certifications** - Steady year-round work in essential disaster recovery services - Career advancement opportunities (Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Estimator, Project Manager) - Work that directly helps families and businesses recover **Benefits (Location Dependent)** - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement (role dependent) ServiceMaster Restore franchise locations are independently owned and operated.
