SERVPRO of Piscataway is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a **Restoration Crew Chief** to oversee and lead out restoration technicians. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. **Key Responsibilities** - Knowledge of disaster restoration industry (Water, Fire, Mold) - Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform - Coach and train restoration technicians and ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs - Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work site - Performs daily monitoring and required activities on all active jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with a sense of urgency - Completes sketch and scope sheet for estimate, complete drying records using mobile software - Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for certification of satisfaction - Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines - Maintain inventory of supplies **Position Requirements** - Valid driver’s license - At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction - Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required - Certifications required: - OCT – Odor Control Technician - Certifications are preferred, but not required: - ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician - FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician - OCT – Odor Control Technician **Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies** - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance) climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics) Each SERVPRO® Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated. *All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated Servpro Franchise.
