## Host/Hostess – 34° North Restaurant at the Beaufort Hotel The 34° North Restaurant located inside the Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking friendly and guest-focused Hosts/Hostesses to join our Food & Beverage team. As the first and last point of contact for many guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. We are looking for someone with a warm personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. ### Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival - Manage seating arrangements and wait lists efficiently - Escort guests to tables and provide menus - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby areas - Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management regarding table availability and guest flow - Answer guest questions regarding menus, restaurant hours, and hotel amenities - Assist with guest requests and ensure a positive dining experience - Help maintain clean and properly set dining areas as needed - Handle phone calls, reservations, and guest inquiries professionally - Maintain a friendly and professional appearance at all times ### Qualifications - Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required - Strong communication and guest service skills - Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods - Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset - Dependable attendance and professionalism - Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays - Ability to stand and move throughout an entire shift ### Compensation - $12.00 - $14.00 per hour depending on experience ### Benefits for Part-Time Associates - Dental and vision insurance options - Life insurance and short/long-term disability options - 401(k) with company match - Hotel and dining discounts - Training and career growth opportunities *Part-time associates are not eligible for medical insurance, paid time off, or tuition assistance benefits.* ### Why Join the Beaufort Hotel?
