JOB PURPOSE We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Resource Manager to join our EMEA resourcing team for our Experience & Engineering DACH Team (Across Germany and Switzerland). This role is essential in ensuring efficient resource allocation, optimizing utilization, and aligning with business growth in a fast-paced digital environment. You’ll be responsible for matching the right talent to the right projects - balancing team skills, availability, and project needs to deliver high-quality work, on time and on budget. This includes managing billable headcount, supporting dynamic staffing needs, and planning ahead with the Commercial team to align with the business pipeline. A strong understanding of digital project delivery (e.g., websites, e-commerce, mobile apps) and the roles involved - such as UX/UI Design,Strategy, Engineers, QA, Devops, among others. WHAT YOU'LL DO Resource Planning & Optimization Own and manage the full resourcing lifecycle across Experience & Engineering requests for a pool of ~100 FTE Evaluate capacity, utilization, and bandwidth to optimize allocation, balancing business needs with team wellbeing. Make strategic resourcing decisions considering project margins, business priorities, and talent development Demand Forecasting & Workforce Planning Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Finance and Operation during project intake to build effective staffing plans Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, partnering with Craft Leads and People & Culture on hiring and training. Cross-Regional Resourcing & External Support Coordinate resourcing across EMEA, including nearshore and offshore teams Identify and onboard freelancers or external partners when internal capacity is unavailable Ensure a balanced approach between internal, nearshore/offshore, and freelance resourcing Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Act as a key partner to Delivery, Sales, Operations, Project Managers, and Craft Leads Ensure alignment between resourcing strategies and business priorities Bring a consultative approach by advising on alternative profiles or staffing solutions based on project needs Risk Management & Conflict Resolution Proactively identify risks in resourcing plans and implement mitigation strategies Manage and resolve resource conflicts, competing priorities, and overlapping demands Reporting, Data & Governance Maintain high data quality within resource management tools (e.g., Resource Guru) Ensure compliance with processes such as time tracking, allocations, and reporting Track and report on key metrics (utilization, capacity, bench, freelance/nearshore ratios) Provide regular insights to local, regional, and global leadership WHAT YOU'll BRING Experience & Background 3+ years of experience in Resource Management, Engineering Resource Management, or Technical/Digital Project Management within a digital agency or product environment Experience working across multiple markets and cultures (EMEA experience is a plus) Digital & Technical Understanding Stron…
