**Essential Duties & Responsibilities** - Gather, weigh and blend materials. - Maintain supply of raw materials to machines (raw material, colors, etc.) - Grind material, label regrind, keep grinding area organized and clean. - Assists in purging machines and cleaning magnets in the hopper throat. - Connect vacuum system to supply material to machines. - Document movement of materials and complete all required paperwork. - Gather lot control information for Quality Control. - Help to monitor inventory levels and advise inventory control of low volumes. - Check equipment (blenders, dye feeders, grinders, etc). - Unload bulk resin trailers. - Keep work area clean and maintain proper housekeeping and sanitation. - Maintains safety in the department. - Perform other warehousing and related tasks Fo**od Safety Responsibilities** - Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards. - Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and document data correctly at all times. - Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion. - Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to Quality and/or Line/Maintenance Supervision. **Qualifications** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
